Convention Center

Thank you for your interest in the booking the Heymann Convention Center. 

The 20,000 sq. ft. Convention Center can be divided in to several spaces or booked as one open area. Comprised of two (2) large ballrooms, Three (3) meeting rooms and a full service kitchen, the Convention center hosts Mardi Gras Balls, trade shows, conventions, concerts, revivals and seminars. A considerable selection of pipe and drape, tables, chairs, staging and AV equipment is available to choose from at the prevailing rates.

Steps to Booking

  1. Call or email for a list of available dates within the date range you are seeking.
  2. Of those available, determine the date(s) that are feasible to your artists, and request a hold on those date(s).
  3. Fill out the Application for Use and email, fax or mail attn: Bookings.
  4. Submit the rider, light plot, floor plan and any other information for approval and estimates.
  5. Sign Lease Agreement and submit deposit.
  6. Obtain Insurance, fill out the insurance certificate and submit for approval. 
  7. Submit Fire-watch application.
  8. Coordinate ticket prices, seating charts, sale dates, special promotions and fees with Box Office Coordinator.
  9. Finalize production itinerary, crew call & technical details with Production Coordinator.
  10. Finalize security, catering, parking, & merchandise details with Event Coordinator.
