Acadiana Symphony Orchestra Season 41

Welcome to Acadiana Symphony Orchestra’s 41st Season, Sounds Like ... – one brimming with beautiful and majestic music. From Verdi, Dvorák, Berlioz and Rachmaninoff, to Broadway, Motown and Home Alone, our programming this season offers something for every musical taste.

The season opens with a popular evening of musical theater favorites, performed by Broadway stars Scarlett Strallen and Jacob Dickey, followed by Verdi’s colossal Requiem in October, and Home Alone in Concert in December. January 2026 brings an evening of masterworks inspired by Italy, with guest soloist Sean Chen on piano, followed by a tribute to the timeless sounds of Motown in February, and closing with Dvorák’s New World Symphony, along with Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, performed violinist Melissa White, in April. Also, don't forget to check out our phenomenal chamber music series, curated and performed by our own talented musicians.
